YouthBridge Family Community announces their new name, HavenHouse St. Louis, at their annual Winter Fest Dinner and Auction.
St. Louis , February 04, 2006
-At the annual Winter Fest Dinner and Auction attended by over 250 friends and supporters, the adoption of their new name, HavenHouse St. Louis, was announced. This is the next step of this organization created in the middle of 2004 and it continues it's growth and service to children.

On January 1, 2005, YouthBridge Family Community became a separate 501 (c)(3), buoyed by startup financial support and a lease from General Protestant Children’s Home dba YouthBridge Association. To complete its road to independence, a branding initiative led by some of the country’s top marketing experts completed the process to re-name the agency and create a tagline to best articulate the program, mission and vision. The results announced in early 2006: HavenHouse St. Louis—lodging, care and support services for out-of-town families with a child in a St. Louis hospital.
St. Louis is fortunate to have many stellar hospitals with international reputations for care. Hospital social workers and care providers were involved in planning HavenHouse, and remain key collaborators and partners as we continue to grow our program. In the first year, HavenHouse served over 1,700 people (600 families), from 34 states and 5 foreign countries. By January 2006, more than 5,000 individuals from 40 states and 12 foreign countries had used Haven House. Like St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, HavenHouse resides in St. Louis, but serves children and families from around the world.
