YouthBridge and Skandalaris Center of Washington University announce 8 Finalists for 2006 Social Entrepenuership and Innovation Competition (SEIC).


Celebrate!

St. Louis , March 23, 2006 -Eight finalists were selected from the original field of eighteen participants in the competitioin.  The energy and excitement levels continue to build leading up to the finals on April 27.   The winners will be disclosed on May 10 at a dinner event with a notworthy outside speaker. founder of The Blessing Basket Project and winner of the 2006 Social Entrepreneurship Award.  Mark your calendars!

The finalists include both existing and new not-for-profit ventures. Some with student participation and some without. All ideas are posted on www.ideabounce.com.

The sustainability plans for the SEIC were due April 12, 2006 from agencies seeking to participate in the competition for the $65,000 to be awarded in three categories.
