Announcing the Skandalaris Seminar Series: Developing Skills, Perspectives & Relationships

New Seminars and New Formats Designed for Entrepreneurs

St. Louis, MIssouri , July 20, 2010 -YouthBridge and Washington University's Skandalaris Center are proud to annouce that the YouthBridge Workshops are now called the Skandalaris Seminar Series:  Developing Skills, Perspectives and Relationships.  Learn to think like an entrepreneur at the free four-week series held at Washington University and taught by prestigious business leaders in the St. Louis community.  The good news is that the seminar series will be repeated in the spring - so if you missed a class or just want a refresher - you will have another chance to participate.

Seminars are for aspiring and practicing entrepreneurs in both the nonprofit and commercial sector, and will provide practical skills development followed by a panel discussion.  Panelists are entrepreneurs who offer their perspectives on how they applied those skills in their own venture and personal development.  The networking receptions follow each panel discussion.

The first seminar "Idea Generation and Testing" will be held Friday, October 8 at 1 p.m. with the Panel Discussion at 2:30 p.m. and the networking reception at 4 p.m. To register or for more information, go to
www.ideabounce.com.

The YouthBridge SEIC and the Skandalaris Seminar Series create the cornerstone of the YouthBridge commitment to leadership and investment in social enterprise.  If you are a budding social entrepreneur or simply interested in the day's topic, join us this fall for any or all of the Skandalaris Seminars.  You'll learn new concepts in a supportive and creative environment and have an opportunity to network and collaborate with peers and business leaders from the St. Louis area.
