When people think of equity capital and entrepreneurship, they typically don’t think of social services. At the YouthBridge Community Foundation, we think of little else.
Equity capital plays the same role in the non-profit and the for profit worlds: to focus a group of committed investors around a common goal. And while capital strength is as important to social agencies as it is to businesses, non-profits not only lack capital, but also lack managers, board members and philanthropic investors who understand the fundamentals of equity capital and how to deploy it.
Join us as we help disadvantaged children in a new way - by improving the balance sheets and building entrpreneurial skills in the agencies that take care of them.
