If you would like to combine your business skills with your interest in community service, we invite you to become a YouthBridge Social Enterprise Mentor (SEM). The SEM is a volunteer business consultant to children’s non-profits. By attending the SEIC YouthBridge workshops at Washington University, you will gain an understanding of the issues facing non-profits today and be able to apply your business experience to their mission challenges.
Other ways SEMs can help the YouthBridge mission are:
- Serve on YouthBridge Board Committees
- Teach a YouthBridge Workshop at the Social Entrepreneurial Innovation Competition (SEIC)
- Help build endowments and venture-capital for children’s agencies
- Open the door to potential donors
